Simple Sautéed Spinach

Plate of quick and simple steamed spinach

Serves: 4 | Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 2 minutes


  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 medium white onion chopped
  • 4 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 pound fresh spinach***
  • 1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

*Clip fresh from your Tower Garden


In a large skillet, heat up olive oil. Add garlic and onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add spinach and gently toss to mix. Cook until spinach is wilted. Season with salt, pepper and garlic pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (optional). Serve immediately.
